“Entertainment value is always on my mind. With an animated film, I'm asking the audience to take the time to sit down and watch the piece. So, I owe it to them to make it an entertaining experience -- I'm being kind of rude if it's not. Besides, if people are bored, they tune out, and I can't make any sort of artistic point to a tuned-out audience.”
