Bachelor of Fine Arts, Minor in IDeATe Animation & Special Effects

My interest in art started with theatrical scenic art and traditional painting. Gradually I began to explore digital forms of art, including creative coding. Ever since then, I have been exploring the vast possibilities this space offers and letting it take my art in unexpected directions. At this time, I am focusing quite a bit on procedural workflows and have been teaching myself Houdini for the past few months. I can definitely say it is a beast, but very rewarding. Regardless of the medium, my work is often rooted in how I can communicate the impression of expressive life and material quality in the digital world. In my free time you’ll find me DJing with Carnegie Mellon’s radio station, WRCT.
